The centre top of the sleeve is left open and is tied up with ribbons when worn up, the sleeves will hang from the elbow when worn down. The drop sleeves can be worn either up or down. No other fastening is needed if using stretch fabrics as recommended, but for woven fabrics please see the notes included on adding a zip to the dress. The dress features 12 loops on the front and 12 on the back for tightening the dress. An additional 20cm has been added to the over all dimension of the hood to provide the bellowed sides, you can always enlarge the height of the hood if needed.
